My cheerful optimism has returned as we look forward to ARCS activities to come in 2022. While many of our larger board meetings are still being held on Zoom; smaller, in-person meetings have begun as we begin to plan for the return of our annual ARCS Gala on May 13th at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Some of the most exciting news I want to share is that during the past year, ten new members have joined our chapter. Welcome to you all and I am looking forward to seeing you at our upcoming Gala! Each of these new members was invited to join by long-time members—thanks to you for energizing our chapter with new, talented women ready to support and encourage next year’s Colorado scholars.
I want to take a minute to thank all our ARCS members and supporters for your dedication to ARCS and our scholars. Many philanthropies waned during the pandemic; ARCS flourished. And because of this, our scholars flourished as well. They moved forward their studies and research, confident that in spite of so much uncertainty, ARCS support was unwavering. Your continued commitment made an impact on the lives of 46 deserving young scientists—thank you!
