Nancy Louise Naylor Kerr
July 17, 1943 - December 8, 2020

Long time ARCS member Nancy Louise Naylor Kerr passed away December 8, 2020. Nancy believed that education is the most important asset a person could have and ARCS was a perfect fit for her.  During more than twenty years of ARCS membership Nancy served the Colorado Chapter as Treasurer, Financial Reporting Chairman, V.P. of Finance, and President (2004-2006). Under Nancy’s leadership the chapter saw significant growth in membership and she was recognized as the chapter’s ARCS Light in 2007. She loved ARCS and many members fondly remember the beautiful Doncaster clothing she generously donated to ARCS Galas. She sold and altered Doncaster clothing for the majority of her working career.

Born in Port Huron, Michigan, Nancy graduated from Denver East High School, attended MacMurry College, and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Colorado Women’s College in Denver.  In addition to her active involvement with ARCS, she was a member of PEO, Assistance League of Denver, the University of Denver Library Association, Denver Athletic Club, and Daughters of the Nile. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dave Kerr, her sons Rick and Ed, and four grandchildren.  Nancy was a much loved and respected Colorado ARCS member and will be sorely missed.
