President’s Message:

Thank you for your continued membership and support for ARCS Colorado. During the coming year, there will be more opportunities for members to be involved by serving on committees, going on special tours, and attending social events. ARCS Colorado will continue to focus on building an exceptional STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, medicine) scholar pipeline to ensure the future of scientific excellence. We will develop a five-year strategic plan with an emphasis on increasing our membership and future financial stability. A summary of ARCS accomplishments for 2025 and important upcoming ARCS events follows. It is an honor to serve as your ARCS Colorado Chapter president.

Accomplishments 2025:

· Ongoing communication with board, members, donors, universities, donor events, and National ARCS

· Support of 52 outstanding STEMM scholars at our six Colorado partner universities

· Successful spring Gala fundraiser at Denver Museum of Nature & Science, excellent speakers, and funds raised to support 52 scholars for 2025-2026

· June 18 board/member meeting, installation of new board members, speaker, and luncheon at Mt. Vernon Canyon Club

SAVE THE DATES:

• Fall Scholar Recognition Luncheon, Thursday, November 6 Hosted by University of Colorado, Boulder, Glenn Miller Ballroom, University Memorial Canter. Registration: 10:30 am. Event from 11:00 am-2:30 pm – Honoree: Dr. Leslie Leinwand, Chief Executive Officer at the CU Biofrontiers Institute. Invitations will be sent later.
• Holiday Social Event Potluck at Elnore Grow’s Home, Wednesday, December 17. Details will be sent via email.
