As an avid and award winning rower, cyclist, realtor and broker, Amy Shontrom is the perfect definition of a Colorado Native. After joining Perry & Co Real Estate in 2001, Amy immediately made her mark as “Rookie of the Year” and went on to represent buyers and sellers of some of Denver’s finest homes and condominiums, earning her recognition as a member of the Denver Board of Realtors’ “Board of Excellence.” She was an early adopter of digital media for marketing and information flow that she had utilized in prior positions with the NY Commodities Exchange on Wall Street and for an independent research firm.

Amy, a competitive Masters level athlete, was named Colorado Sportswoman of the Year in 2013 for her winning participation in the 2012 Race Across America. Her book, Step on It: One Woman’ s Adventure in the Race Across America, documents her participation in the grueling 3,000 mile, coast to coast, bicycle race.  She is also a competitive rower and winner of multiple Gold Medals at FISA World Master Rowing Regattas and US and Canadian Masters National Championships. Amy serves on both Mentor Colorado and Rocky Mountain Rowing Club boards and is a member of Impact100-Denver. She has served on the Masters Committee of USRowing and is the founder of the Denver Boat Club.
